In international industrial temperature measurement equipment procurement and foreign trade engineering supporting projects, armored thermocouples are divided into standard and non-standard types according to production specifications and application scope. The two types of products have obvious differences in production standards, grading tables, application fields and after-sales matching services. Standard thermocouples include B, S, K, E and other conventional graduation types, covering the temperature measurement range of 0-1300℃ required by most industrial production. Non-standard armored thermocouples are customized products for special working conditions and special measurement scenarios. They have no unified international standard grading tables, and their thermoelectric performance and parameter indicators are not universal. In terms of application scope and usage quantity, non-standard thermocouples are far less extensive than standard products, and they cannot be universally replaced with conventional thermocouple accessories. Non-standard products are mainly used for special industrial scenarios such as ultra-high temperature measurement, micro-space temperature detection, special gas and corrosive medium measurement, filling the market gap of special temperature measurement demands.

Cold-end compensation technology is a key technical difference between standard and non-standard thermocouples. All standard thermocouple grading tables are formulated based on the zero cold-end temperature standard. In actual industrial operation, the cold-end temperature cannot always be zero, so special compensation wires are required to extend the cold end and correct temperature errors. Standard thermocouples are matched with universal standard compensation wires, with mature and stable compensation technology. Most non-standard thermocouples lack supporting universal compensation accessories, and cold-end error correction is difficult, resulting in higher measurement error rate and stricter use conditions.

In foreign trade project matching, targeted product selection should be based on customer demand scenarios. For conventional industrial production lines, large engineering supporting and standardized equipment procurement, standard armored thermocouples with strong versatility and convenient maintenance are preferred. For special working condition transformation, customized equipment development and special scenario temperature measurement, non-standard customized thermocouples are matched to meet personalized demand. Professional foreign trade suppliers need to accurately distinguish product attributes, provide standardized matching schemes and customized services, ensure product applicability and stability, and build professional and reliable brand image in the international market.
