Standard operation is the key to extending the service life of wireless furnace temperature tester thermocouples and ensuring accurate test data. Most thermocouple failures in overseas industrial applications are not caused by product quality problems, but by non-standard manual operation. Improper bending, pulling and extrusion will cause hidden damage or direct scrapping of thermocouples, increasing user use costs and affecting production testing progress. Mastering basic anti-breakage operating specifications is the essential skill for all front-line furnace temperature testing operators.

It is strictly prohibited to knot the thermocouple wire or bend it at an angle greater than 90 degrees during use. The internal structure of the wireless furnace temperature tester thermocouple is composed of two fine alloy wire cores, which have certain flexibility but limited bending resistance. Knotting and sharp-angle bending will produce strong shear force and tensile force on the internal fine wire cores, resulting in hidden cracks or complete fracture of the wire cores. Different from external visible damage, the internal wire breakage position is invisible, and operators cannot quickly find the fault point. Once the wire core breaks, the thermocouple will completely lose its temperature sensing function and be directly scrapped, resulting in unnecessary equipment loss.

In daily testing work, operators must maintain standardized and gentle operation habits and avoid violent construction. In the process of equipment arrangement, testing layout and post-test recovery, the thermocouple wire should be naturally placed and gently bent at a large angle, and sharp folding and forced knotting are forbidden. For the thermocouple wires arranged in the furnace body, avoid extrusion of workpieces and equipment, prevent external force from squeezing the wire core and causing structural damage. Many overseas factory operators pursue construction speed and adopt rough operation, which leads to a large number of thermocouple premature scrapping, greatly increasing the daily operating cost of the factory.

Standardized anti-breakage operation can effectively maximize the service life of high-quality thermocouples. High-quality industrial thermocouples have excellent high-temperature resistance and structural stability, and can withstand long-term high-temperature cycle testing. As long as they are operated in accordance with the specifications and avoid sharp bending and knotting damage, the service life can reach the standard design life, and the failure rate is extremely low. On the contrary, even high-quality imported thermocouples will be frequently damaged under non-standard violent operation, resulting in low cost performance.

Foreign trade after-sales technical services need to take operational specification training as an important part. For overseas customers, provide detailed operation manuals and on-site guidance, popularize thermocouple anti-breakage operation standards, correct irregular operation habits of operators, reduce unnecessary equipment loss, help customers give full play to the performance advantages of high-quality thermocouples, reduce replacement costs, and improve the economic benefits of enterprise production and testing.
