All 1200 units are 415V, 2000W, 20mm diameter by 800mm long, made from Incoloy 800H alloy, which can withstand operating temperatures of up to 900°C. The heaters feature a high watt density of 18W/cm², which allows for rapid heat-up times-critical for the client's heat treatment process, which requires the furnace to reach 850°C within 30 minutes.
The client is a leading manufacturer of industrial furnaces in the UAE, and supplies equipment to steel processing plants across the Middle East. They needed heaters that could withstand the harsh environment of the heat treatment furnace, which includes high temperatures, corrosive fumes, and constant thermal cycling. Our engineering team worked closely with the client to select the right material and design for the heaters, and conducted extensive testing to ensure that they would perform reliably in the field.
Before shipment, we conducted a full 100% inspection of all units, including power testing, insulation resistance testing, high-pot testing, and a 24-hour burn-in test at 800°C to verify long-term stability. All units passed the tests with no issues, and the client's quality team was very satisfied with the quality of the heaters. We also provided the client with a 12-month warranty for the heaters, which covers any defects in materials or workmanship.
