In the cleanroom, the final batch of cartridge heaters for the German PCR instrument project is being removed from the constant temperature and humidity test chamber. This batch of 320 micro cartridge heaters with a diameter of Φ3mm has core requirements of highly repeatable heating/cooling rates and millikelvin-level temperature stability. The entire production process was conducted in a Class 60,000 clean environment, with standards ten times stricter than conventional industrial products applied to everything from resistance wire winding precision to magnesium oxide powder filling density. The factory acceptance testing this time fully followed medical device component control procedures. In addition to recording each tube's cold resistance (tolerance ±0.5%), insulation resistance (>7MΩ), and withstand voltage data, the typical temperature cycling profile of a PCR instrument (7°C to 95°C) was simulated. Data was collected using metrologically calibrated platinum resistance temperature sensors to ensure each tube's temperature-resistance characteristic curve perfectly matches the client's main control algorithm. All test data, material batch numbers, and operator information have been entered into the traceability system, generating a unique electronic batch record. The client's quality representative has reviewed all documents via a remote system and approved the release. These high-value components will be shipped to Berlin via FedEx tomorrow.
