All 1500 units are 110V, 200W, 8mm diameter by 150mm long, made from high-purity stainless steel 316L, which meets the biocompatibility requirements of the ISO 10993 standard for medical devices. The heaters feature a mirror-polished surface finish to prevent the accumulation of bacteria, and are filled with medical-grade magnesium oxide insulation that is free from any contaminants that could affect the accuracy of the laboratory analyzers.
The client is a leading manufacturer of blood analyzers in South Korea, and their equipment is used in over 200 hospitals across the country. They needed heaters that could provide precise temperature control for the reagent warming system in their analyzers, which requires a stable temperature of 37°C ±0.5°C to ensure accurate test results. Our engineering team worked with the client to design the heaters with a low watt density of 5W/cm², which allows for gentle, uniform heating without any temperature overshoot.
